Location:

Fun Fact:
Remodeled and Repurposed 8,000 sq. ft. Into 4 Unique Spaces
Complete Transformation of a 3,000 sq. ft. Office Space into 8,000 sq. ft. of Multi-Purpose Spaces
- The front entrance was completely reconfigured to modernize the facility’s entrance experience.
- The construction scope was challenging, needing to accommodate three different business units in the new space.
- The businesses were diverse: a commercial business, a non-profit organization, and a religious radio station, which also required a small chapel within the office space.
- The chapel involved significant finish carpentry work.
- We engaged an interior designer and an architect to develop the overall design and workflow.
- The client desired a natural and cohesive feel for the space.
- Regular meetings with the various parties ensured that all construction requirements were met throughout the project.

Project Quick Facts
- Provided all Drawings, Permitting, and Inspections
- Exceeded our customers expectation with fit and finish of the project
- Provided a turnkey project on budget and on time

Challenges
- We had a single client with three separate decision-makers, all of whom needed to be kept informed and satisfied upon project completion.
- J&J was given less than 90 days to complete the project from the time we secured the necessary permits.
- J&J worked around a national historic artifact stored on-site, ensuring it was not disturbed during construction.
- The sound room/radio station required soundproofing to isolate it from other operations within the facility.
- Despite receiving numerous change orders, we successfully delivered the project on budget.

Our Approach
The J&J team proactively engaged all parties before the project began to thoroughly understand their requests. We aimed to give each stakeholder a voice in the decision-making process while ensuring we delivered the required results for the VP of Operations overseeing the project. We also collaborated closely with the municipality to secure a Certificate of Occupancy, which was challenging due to the diverse uses of the space. To keep everyone informed and address any issues or concerns promptly, we provided weekly progress reports and maintained open lines of communication throughout the project.
